Reading pages 273-275 I feel Cedric sometimes takes pride in his accomplishments. I believe he sometimes takes accomplishment because he listens to other people say things about life or anything and Cedric takes it in Consideration. For example, on page 274 Cedric said he wonders if he is wrong to be so proud. His mind had slipped back to something Lon had said few weeks ago in a Sunday sermon about the sin of pride. But, Cedric has to much pride for himself that cannot lead him to having pride in his accomplishments.
